Incorporated in August 1997, CJ Lumber Limited began operations as a
door manufacturer. At inception, we supplied to the local market but later extended to include the CARICOM customers.

The company was established by Randy Aking. Using the business acumen gained from his parents business, Randy established CJ Lumber Limited as a noteworthy player in the door manufacturing industry.

Over the past 21 years company has remained agile in responding to the
changes in the industry. Under the guidance of our management team we continue to be dynamic, diversifying our services and suite of products to meet industry trends and more importantly, our customers’ needs. Our development has been interesting reflecting our ability to stay relevant in
the face of an ever-changing industry.

As at our beginning, our goal remains the same today – to offer excellent pricing, quality goods, and excellent service to our customers. Imitating our founder, Randy, we continue to take bold steps changing and diversifying our products and services to reflect the needs of the market.

Our Development

2003

The conceptualisation of our wholesale division. This new division was fashioned for furniture manufacturers and joiners by marketing items such as lumber, MDF and plywood at very affordable prices.

2007

The first of three steel straightening and cutting machines were purchased. Needless to say, this decision to create a steel division has enhanced the company’s services. Today we import quality steel rebars.

2008

The introduction of the manufacturing of purlin and galvanise sheets division. Machines were purchased from abroad and are operating from our premises. Galvanise sheets and purlins are presently being sold with options for retail or wholesale purchase.

2011

We procured a soffit machine and an aluminium guttering.

2016/2017

A BRC machine was also purchased for the production of BRC- Welded Wire Mesh.
